3.The floating ball valve can be fully opened or closed by rotating 90°, and it opens and closes quickly. Compared with gate valves and globe valves of the same specification, ball valves are smaller in size and lighter in weight, which is convenient for pipeline installation.

4.Among various types of valves, ball valves have the least flow resistance. When a full-bore ball valve is fully open, the diameter of the ball passage, the valve body passage and the connecting pipe are equal and in a straight line, allowing the medium to flow through with almost no loss.

5.The floating ball valve has a simple structure, is compact, and has good sealing performance. The sealing surface and the ball valve are often in a closed state, making it less likely to be eroded by the medium. It is suitable for general industrial media such as water, solvents, acids, and natural gas, and is also suitable for media with relatively harsh working conditions, such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane, and ethylene.
